3rd Grade: Spirit Animals

What is a spirit animal? We discussed just this in third grade. Students had a chance to think about their own personality compared to that of an animal. This project was paired with a short writing of why they chose that animal as their spirit animal.

3rd Grade: Picasso Monsters

Pablo Picasso's portraits changed a lot over his lifetime as an artist. They became more abstract. You can see in some of them it appears as if you were looking at a face from different angles all in one picture.


Students used this style in their own work to create wither a witch, Frankenstein, or vampire.
