6th Grade: Dragon Eyes

In this project, sixth grade challenged them selves to show value using pencils in these dragon eye drawings. We focused on trying to show where our light source was coming from by adding shadows and highlights to our eyes and surround scales. Students learned that pencils can have different values depending on the soft or hardness of the graphite. Here are some really awesome examples!
