To warm us up for the school year I like to start with a simple project that a lot of students can contribute to. My 5th- 8th grade students took a look at the art work of a woman named Jen Stark. She is most famous for her very bright and colorful "drips". We studied both her 2D and 3D work.
Each student made their own drip to contribute to a whole wall of drips. The students were able to choose whatever color combination they liked.
