5th Grade: Snow Globes in One-Point Perspective

There are many ways of creating perspective in an art piece, and fifth grade learned a new way, using one-point perspective! Although this is a difficult concept to grasp at first for many of the students, many of them were pros by the end of this project. For some of you who have no idea what i mean when i say one point perspective, here is a photo that gives a little glimpse.

Students started this project before Christmas break, so some decided to add some Christmas flare to their snow globes while others kept it the winter wonderland. I decided to create snow globes for this project because a snow globe create a whole new imaginary world that draws you in, just like the power of one point perspective. Students even added glitter to make their snow globe shine.
