2nd Grade: Warm and Cool Corn

Second grade learned about out warm and cool colors on the color wheel. Warm colors remind us of things that a warm and give off a warm feel, such as the sun, fire, lava, etc. Cool colors give off a cool vibe or feel to them, such as, the ocean, grass, etc.

We made Indian corn paintings in honor of harvest season. The corn was painted using our warm colors. (red, yellow, and orange) The background were painted using our cool colors. ( purple, blue, and green)
